Hailing from the historic streets of Fredericksburg, Virginia, CITIZEN X is a high-octane rock outfit dedicated to the art
of the original anthem. By blending the raw, blues-infused power of classic rock with the polished grit of modern
alternative metal, the band has carved out a signature sound that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly current.
Since their formation, the band has become a staple of the Virginia music scene, known for an electric live show that
prioritizes authentic connection over gimmicks. Whether they are performing in intimate local venues or commanding
larger stages, CITIZEN X delivers a performance defined by intricate guitar work, a thundering rhythm section, and
lyrics that resonate with the modern underdog.
In a world of loops and samples, CITIZEN X remains committed to the power of a plugged-in guitar and a story worth
telling. They aren't just keeping rock alive - they're giving it a new hometown.

Aaron (vocals)
“Writing and performing music brings out a joy in me that not many other things can. When those songs resonate with people, it makes it all worth it when they genuinely enjoy the songs.”
Cory (drums)
Cory started playing drums around the age of six when his grandmother discovered that he could keep a beat and sing a song at the same time. Since then, Cory has always had a passion for percussion. “I love playing live and recording and having people like, love and connect with the songs that we create.”
Scott (bass)
Scott is revered as one of Virginia’s finest bass players and a key component in the final product of the song writing process
Joe (guitar lead/rhythm)
Playing guitar since his late teens, Joe pulls influence from the raw aggression of bands such as The Offspring, 3 Doors Down, and Megadeth to the melodic power of Journey, Slash, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Jimi Hendrix. He’s proud to be part of the heavy-hitting rock band Citizen X. “Performances are where this band comes alive, and the intensity, energy, and musicianship define every song.”
Bryan (guitar rhythm/lead)
Jersey Shore native, Bryan started playing in hard rock and punk bands at 14 years old. While self taught with four instruments, Bryan’s main focus with CItizen X has been guitar. Influenced heavily by the 90’s Seattle sound early on, his passion lies in dreamy melodic tones with skull crushing heavy riffs.
